Dr. Morris and Dr. Solomon are specialists in Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Morris completed his Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship training at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in 1990 and has been dedicated to caring for women with gynecologic cancers in Eastern Michigan since that time. In August of 2008, Dr. Solomon joined him at the Van Elslander Cancer Center and St. John Hospital locations.
Dr. Morris is a Professor of Gynecologic Oncology at Wayne State University and as the Director of the Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship program, he maintains an active role in educating young physicians and collaborating in research. Dr. Solomon recently completed her fellowhsip training at Wayne State Unversity and maintains an active role in educating medical students, residents and fellows.
Both Drs. Morris and Solomon have been active in incorporating minimally invasive surgery and robotic-assisted procedures into the general practice of gynecologic oncology. Our patients who require chemotherapy may do so at the Van Elslander Cancer Center, Karmanos Cancer Center or the Weisberg Center.
Our office staff are dedicated to providing comprehensive care and are here to assist our patients with personalized attention. Our staff will assist you with scheduling appointments, tests and coordinating ancillary services. Among our staff is Ann Sheldon, RN. She is an excellent oncology nurse with over 20 years of experience who has chosen to specialize in caring for women with gynecologic malignancies.
